Sürpriz bir şekilde yılın eleştirel olarak en çok beğenilen içeriği Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC’si de Yılın Oyunu adayları arasında. Ancak büyük bir başarı hikayesi olan Helldivers 2 kendine yer bulamadı.
PlayStation bu yıl en çok aday gösteren yayıncı oldu
PlayStation, 16 adaylıkla The Game Awards 2024’ün en çok oyunu aday gösterilen yayıncısı olurken, onu 12’şer adaylıkla Square Enix ve Xbox izledi. Ardından 11 adaylıkla Sega geliyor.
Toplam 27 kategoride yarışacak adaylar, etkinliğin sunucusu ve yapımcısı Geoff Keighley tarafından açıklandı. Oyunlar, medya yayınlarından oluşan bir oylama jürisi tarafından seçildi.
The Game Awards kazananları oy veren jüri (%90) ve halk oylarının (%10) dahil olduğu karma oylamayla belirlenecek. Oylamaya 12 Aralık TSİ 05:00’e kadar etkinliğin resmi sitesinden katılabilirsiniz.
